love these clips! October 11, 2009 keysgirl (Key Largo) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
There are endless uses for them and they have held up to lots of use on my dive gear. They have only a few small rust stains in spite of frequent use in sea water. There is no sign of the metal deteriorating or flaking off just a few small brown spots. This is far better than most caribiners that seize up after a few months of use on my dive gear. They open easily which is good for my purposes but others have complained that they come open in pockets so it is something to consider.
Useful in so many ways December 2, 2009 ubat (Sao Paulo, Brazil) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I got these S-Biners in several sizes to try them out for different uses. Truth is, I'd never seen this design before I stumbled upon them in Amazon (I don't camp, climb, etc.), and immediately saw how well thought out and potentially useful they could be. One of them, the #3, holds my GPS travel recorder (for photographic geotagging) to my belt loop. The #2 works great for my cell phone carrying case; the #4 for my water bottle. And on and on it goes: the uses for S-Biners seem to be endless. They seem to be well made -- I have them in black and stainless -- and, although the clip mechanism isn't hard, nothing has yet slipped off. These little biners have become an essential part of my kit, and I won't travel without them.
great gadgets! March 17, 2009 Lorraine (Texas, United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These are great little gadgets to attach just about anything to your purse or even laptop bag. I use them on all my camera cases to keep up with my mini-flashlights and just to use to hold them with. They keep me from dropping things and help me keep up with the little gadgets that can easily be dropped. These S-biners are pretty helpful and well made.
Great Clips October 23, 2009 Steve in Atlanta (Atlanta, GA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These clips are great for many purposes. I use the large one to hang sandals on my belt when I walk the beach.
Work well, much better than carabiners June 30, 2010 John (PHOENIX, AZ USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used to use carabiners for a variety of things but S-Biners work much better in most cases. The problem with standard carabiner is that everything is attached to the same "loop." For example, If you have a set of keys, and maybe other items, and then attach that to a backpack. When you open the standard carabiner, to remove it from the backpack, your keys or anything on it can fall off if you're not careful. Because s-biner have two separate attachment areas, all of you loose items can remain securely attached to the s-biner when you unclip it from your backpack, belt loop or whatever.
They seem very sturdy and I expect them to last a long time. It's very easy to clip and unclip things, even with one hand.
This particular set is nice. You can use the small ones to attach a small key ring to your belt. The large one can be used to join two larger items together, such as attaching a small camera bag to another bag.
The only downside with these is that they are more expensive that a carabiner. However, the extra cost is more than made up for by the convenience and ease of use.
Try these, you won't go back to the standard carabiner.
