Amazon.com This is a reconditioned power tool. Reconditioned generally means that the tool has been returned to the manufacturer, who brings the tool back to like new condition. Some tools may contain cosmetic blemishes. This is brad nailer for the new millennium: a powerful driver in a feather-light body. The magnesium housing is a fantastic development from the Bostitch folks, who've known all along how to make a heck of a nailer. This one weighs in at a mere 2.1 pounds, letting you hoist and fire for hours without the strain and fatigue of the heavier models. The motor is whisper-quiet and oil-free, eliminating worries about oil-stained work pieces. Bostitch thought of everything with this one, even creating a magnetic magazine that hangs onto your fasteners for breezy loading. The adjustable depth control is quick and easy to use, without any fumbling. You can countersink in a flash, too. Don't let the weight of this tool fool you, it packs serious power. -- Kris Jensen-Van Heste

Awesome tool June 4, 2009 J. knudson 18 out of 18 found this review helpful
I didn't have high expectations for a cheap reconditioned nailer...i had never used an air nailer before either. This thing is fantastic! The build quality is really nice, light but solid. i've put maybe a thousand brads of all different sizes through it, no jams, no worries. It's pretty quiet all things considered, makes glue ups for my projects go so easy and most important i love using it! I find myself trying to come up with more projects just so i can use it. The ONLY thing i could think to comment negatively on is that i always forget to check the brad quantity...sometimes i keep on nailing after it's empty, and it still leaves the little hole where a nail would've went in so it's hard to obviously tell it's empty. there is a little window to check on this, but like i said it's so fun to use that i get carried away and never check the nail supply. i highly recommend, in fact i'm going to buy a reconditioned stapler to match for real thin materials that a brad nailer wouldn't work for.
Bostitch Brad Nailer works great June 1, 2009 Joseph B. Almond (PENNSVILLE, NJ USA) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
This is the first nailer that I have owned. For new owners, be sure to read the supplied owners manual with special attention to the safety aspects. This is not a toy, it is very powerful.
The item is light weight and easy to operate. Both are important for extended periods of use. The nailer has an all plastic body, making it easy to keep clean.
It arrives in a hard plastic storage case, along with a small quantity of various sized brads.
I am presently using it in replacing my wooden fencing. The tool is very efficient and low impact.
I am very pleased with my choice. It is a very good value, considering the cost and quality.
Very good nailer terrible documentation August 30, 2009 G. Robinson (CO) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I am not down grading for the worthless documentation as even someone like me who has never used this type of tool can figure it out. You have to look closely for the important piece of information the nailer operates 90 to 120 psi. Similarly the other piece is where the depth control is. But I am not down grading a excellent tool for the pretty useless documentation. It works just fine with Bostich brads. They will only load the right way and function without problems. I got some no names from the local hardware store and they were terrible. Irregular penetration, double and even one triple feed, pretty useless. I don't know about other brand name brads but stick to Bostich and it works flawlessly.
Bostitch does it again !! February 24, 2009 Terry A. Strother (Baltimore, MD) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I own a Bostitch framing nailer, coil roofing nailer, 16ga finishing nailer, 15ga stapler, 18ga 1/4" crown stapler and the much older version 2" 18ga brad nailer. I also own a few other brand assorted tools, however I have found day after day the Bostitch is the one to have. Since receiving my reman BT200 3 days a go I have put close to 1000 2" brads through it(Bostitch & Porter Cable). Not 1 jamb or misfire. Class A performance.
I initially bought it on brand reputation alone. However like all other magnesium cased Bostitch nailer it is a pleasure to use. When my other nailers need replacement I will look at Bostitch first.
18 guage brad nailer April 30, 2009 Dennis J. Davis 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I've worked with bostitch and relied on their performance extensively. Even though refurbished it came in great shape. Although the description claimed to ship !,000 brads with the gun and case there were just 35.My one jump for the price from others was the little extra. It was a good price. The 965 brads would have made it a great price.
