The exclusive four-position keyless blade clamp allows for flush cutting and provides the ability to reach into tight areas, which improve performance and increase efficiency, and the double oil-sealed shaft helps to reduce contamination and provide durability. A pivoting adjustable shoe extends blade life and allows for depth of cut control, which is ideal for jobs that demand varying cutting depths.
Power and Performance
With a 1-?-inch stroke length that delivers a fast cutting speed and a variable-speed trigger with 0-3,000 SPM that provides increased blade control, the DCS380 quickly powers through some of the most demanding jobsite tasks. Plus, the 3.0 Ah lithium-ion battery provides up to 35 percent more runtime versus leading 18-volt lithium-ion tools, which is important in reducing downtime throughout the day. DEWALT-designed electronics have been built into the DCS380’s switch to provide maximum life for the tool and battery by helping to protect them from overheating, overloading, and deep discharge during use. The included charger has dual voltage capabilities, and it is compatible with both 12-volt max and 20-volt max DEWALT lithium-ion batteries.
