Wagner concrete moisture meter’s advanced electromagnetic wave technology gives you a fast, initial indication of the moisture content in concrete, scanning an area 1-1/2 inches by 2-12 inches by 3/4-inch. The analog meter is clear and easy to read, letting you know when it’s safe to install flooring or coatings on concrete. It’s pocket-sized, lightweight, and easy to operate. Flooring contractors, remodelers, and builders will find it indispensable. One caveat: don’t expect to use it right out of the hard carrying case. First, you’ll need to establish a moisture baseline, which involves pouring concrete into half a dozen containers, letting them dry completely, and then adding a specified amount of water to each block.
