Tape measure is constructed of non-conductive high impact molded plastic material. Its tougher, more flexible, and safer than steel, and will not rust or corrode. Gives more accurate and longer service, proven by numerous field tests, and has won the industrial design award from UNESCO. NOTE: Temperature correction is not neccessary in normal use. Tension correction is not neccessary with tension of 4.4 lbs. or less. With tension of 11 lbs. correction is .02" per 3' measured. With tension of 22 lbs. correction is .04" per 3' measured.
