M12 Clamp-Gun Clamp Meter for Accurate Readings and Enhanced Productivity
Featuring an ergonomic pistol grip and large, 1.57-inch jaws, the 2238-20 covers 100 percent of general testing applications, measures up to 1,000-MCM cable, offers a current range of up to 600 amps AC/DC, and a voltage range to 1,000 AC/DC.Rated CAT IV 600V/CAT III 1,000V and complete with an embedded, non-contract voltage detection system for safety, this indispensable tool has a high-contrast, white-on-black display with a backlight for easy reading. It shows readings up to 600 microamps for flame rectification, resistance measurement to 600 kohms, and capacitance measurement from 1.0 microfarad to 4,000 microfarads. Additionally, a K-type thermocouple provides contact-temperature measurement from -40 to 752 degrees Fahrenheit. The 2238-20 is easy and comfortable to use, thanks to rugged over-molding. It also boasts an LED work light to enhance visibility in even dark and enclosed areas. This tool is backed by a five-year limited manufacturer's warranty.

The 2238-20 owes its long-lasting, fade-free power to a 1.4-amp-hour lithium-ion battery. Since lithium-ion batteries are significantly smaller and lighter than competitive NiCad batteries, they play an integral role in making the 2238-20 ergonomic, comfortable to use, and easy to maneuver while you work. Also, lithium-ion batteries offer long battery life and charge in 30 minutes with the M12 charger.
