This is my first step into composting so I can't vouch for the output yet.
This is the best price I've seen for a spinning composter. It's pretty solid and I was able to put it together myself in about 15 minutes (just needed a wrench and a screwdriver). A second person might be handy when attaching the composter to the legs.
The door slides easily but is also a snug fit and the composter is easy to spin. It's made of pretty solid plastic with little airholes punched througout. Inner ridges and the spinning bar help break stuff up.
When this one fills up we'll probably order a second one so the first can finish its work.

Being a composting fan I did alot of research on composting tumblers. The Achla fits into my scheme perfectly. We are in the process of renewing some very poor soil and this composter has already provided 2 loads of much needed compost for our small garden in 6 weeks...now if they could just do something about the weather......

I am so pleased with my new Achla spinning composter. It was a fraction of the cost of the ComposTumbler that I was also considering. It was also quite simple to set up, and easy to turn, even completely full. I believe the black plastic exterior helps to heat the contents and facilitate the composting process. Although I filled it with pungent horse manure and kitchen scraps, there is little to no smell unless the lid is open. I will write back and let you know how my first batch of compost turns out.

The Achla CMP-05 spinning composter is a rugged, well-designed unit that is as easy to use as it is to assemble. My wife and I are very pleased. This is exactly what you need to get that rotting garbage out of the stack in the corner of your yard and actually get it composting! The unit assembles easily. The parts were just stuck inside the composter but nothing was broken or bent. It takes two people to put the plastic drum onto the completed leg assembly so have someone around at the end.
The unit spins easily (with two hands). We've had some food and yard waste cookin' inside for about three weeks and it's well on its way to being "black gold".
