Product Description These Invisible Disc Adhesive Plate Hangers hold china, porcelain, crafts, large trays and platters, and home decor of many different sizes and shapes. Each plate hanger holds up to 6.5 pounds. Use 2 or more disc hangers to hold heavier pottery, trays, and decor. These 5.5" Disc Hangers work best for hanging heavy trays and platters, large glass and mirrors, chargers, and some heavy metal objects. Their size allows you to trim them to fit odd shaped items and avoid rims and edges. (Trimming plate hangers can reduce the amount of weight they support.)

I really didn't have much faith that this product would work, but the glue on this and the pad itself are very strong and really cling to the surface, even a somewhat uneven surface. It molds itself to the surface and just doesn't let go. Just make sure you position it properly in the beginning, because it is almost impossible to adjust. I first tried this on an inexpensive plate and it worked so well that I decided to try it on a piece of art glass that I couldn't figure out how to display. It has been four months, and it is still hanging on tight and secure. The pad also provides some cushioning against the wall when hanging the item. A definite two thumbs up for this.
Great product! November 4, 2009 Gringa Alvarez (Fort Lauderdale, FL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this to hold a leaf-shaped platter that I used as wall art. I was so happy to find it since I wouldn't figure out HOW I was going to get it to hang on the wall. It's 18 inches long and an irregular shape. This hanger was easy to affix (just make sure to double-check its placement BEFORE you lay it down, as the instructions state, because it is super sticky and I almost put it on upside-down!). One month now and its still on the wall!
I was skeptical, but happily proven wrong....... March 11, 2010 Rocksister (Easley, SC United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had a Spode reproduction plate that I wanted to hang on my wall which cost me a pretty penny. I did not want those unsightly metal hooks on the edges of it, covering up part of the beautiful design from an original copperplate engraving. I stumbled upon these hangers by accident and decided, what the heck, for this price, I can afford to try it. I had other plates to hang as well, so I ordered a few. After following the dummy-proof instructions and applying these to the plates, I waited 24 hours. Then I lightly tugged on them. Then I pulled. Then I REALLY pulled. Those things will not budge. I hung the plates with nary a hardware item in sight. I did use some putty behind the edges to keep the plates from vibrating when the washer and dryer run, and that was all I had to do. They look fabulous and have been up for over a week now. This is the greatest thing on the market for this purpose.
They work February 26, 2010 J. Clayton (NJ, USA) I have two beautiful hand painted plates from the Andes that I wanted to display in my dining room.
Looking for plate holders that fitted the large diameter wasn't easy and even then the ugly 'claws' were not very desirable. So I gave these a shot. I was still skeptical during the sticking process, but with fingers crossed I hung them up. Well a week later they are hanging with no signs of whats holding up. Great stuff....so long as they stay up!
It does everything it claims May 24, 2010 J. C. Good (Fremont, CA United States) I used this hangar for years on a heavy platter. It never came loose. My husband knocked the platter off the hook and it fell and shattered. The disc was still attached to the center of the plate. I soaked it off and was able to re-use it on a new platter. (Sadly, the old one couldn't be saved.) It continues to hold up well on (a new, better hook). The disc is a really great value. I highly recommend it.
